Nicole Giselle Richardson is a supporting character in Tempus Tim. She is the mother of Gabe, and works as a casino waitress in Atlantic City.
History
Nicole was born in New Auburn on 14th March 2001. As a kid, she grew up relatively poor, but still had all of her needs taken care of. This all changed when she was 18 and fresh out of high school, when she and her parents decided to take a massive gamble and send her to college, regardless of how expensive it was. This caused her parents to sell their house and become basically homeless, all to ensure their daughter could become successful.
The first year of Nicole's college life went well. She got good grade, had friends, and even a job as a waitress in Atlantic City. This led her to meet Gabe's dad, a newly hired but upwardly mobile banker, who fell in love with her because she was one of the few woman who didn't chase after his wealth potential. This eventually resulted in a romance that led to her getting pregnant (nice) and the 2 of them deciding to get married out of wedlock to ensure the baby had a stable upbringing.
Sadly, this all fell apart when said man was violently publicly murdered by an envious ex, who then proceeded to get acquitted of all crimes and even sue Nicole for emotional damage (somehow). This was almost immediately followed by Gabe's birth, causing her to have to drop out of college (her parents, aka Gabe's grandparents, went AWOL by this time), followed almost immediately by the covid-19 pandemic, causing her to lose her job as well. Even though she eventually got her job back, she was unable to go back to college due to needing to raise Gabe all by herself. Crushing student debt from her less than 1 year of college also prevented her from being able to build up wealth with what little income she had, causing her to basically bunk out in an abandoned trailer hooping nobody would notice.
Trivia
- Even though Nicole's job brings in half decent money, various long term expenses, like a massive student debt she was forced to take out, mean she doesn't have enough to buy food with, resulting in Gabe being extremely malnourished.
- Nicole is the third youngest parent to anyone in the ENAHS class of 2038, behind the parents of Annie Harper (Nicole was 18 or 19 when Gabe was born, Annie's parents were both 16).
